Are we going to church?  Is it just around the corner or is it far far away?  Can we play in the nursery?  Does the pastor have toys?  These are questions we ask Mommy and Daddy almost every time we get in our van.  We like to ride in our van and it’s a good thing because Daddy said we went over 24,000 miles last year in our car seats.  When we travel, we like to read books, listen to Patch the Pirate, sings songs and play with toys.  Mommy says she likes it best when we take naps (we think it is because that means she can take one too).  We like to go to churches because we get to play with all the toys in the nursery.   We two boys are learning to sit in big church sometimes too.  Then after the services we like to shake hands with the people and hand the other kids our elephant bookmarks to help them remember to pray for our family.   

We have been able to do a lot of different things on deputation.  Sometimes we get to stay with people from the churches or stay with the pastor.  Sometimes they have us stay in a hotel (we like the ones with pools best!).   Other times when we are traveling we get to see things.  Once we saw a big green statue of a lady out in the middle of the water by New York City. In St. Louis, Missouri we got to see a big Arch.  It looked like half of a McDonald’s sign.  Daddy made a wrong turn once and took us into Canada where we got to see a big, BIG waterfall called Niagara.  Mommy said that maybe someday when we are in Zambia we might get to see an even bigger waterfall.  When we were in Greenville, South Carolina once, we even got to meet Patch the Pirate (Mr. Hamilton) at his music store.  We can’t remember how many different zoos we have been to, but we can’t wait to see some of the animals in Africa.  What we like the most about deputation is going to churches so Daddy and Mommy can tell them about all the people in Zambia who need to hear about Jesus.  A lot of people have told us they would pray for us.   We hope you will pray for us too.

Zambia 101 – 47% of all Zambians are under 15 years old.  There will be lots of kids to play with! 

Daddy and Mommy want to be able to tell these kids about Jesus.

- Our missionary friends: Emilee, Stephanie, Joshua, Annabelle, Micah and Isaiah Hafler with their Daddy and Mommy in Zambia; Jonathan Knipe and his parents on deputation, and the Beamans: Andrew, Isaac, Paul, Emily and their parents also on deputation.

- School:  Daddy and Mommy will be going to classes at BJU in June to help them speak better in Zambia.

- Support:  Pray that churches will support us so we can go to Zambia soon.

God has answered your prayers:

- Daddy told us we have 64% of the support we need before we can move to Zambia!

- We have not been very sick this winter.

- We have a church to go to almost every Sunday until Thanksgiving.
